Water Street in downtown Henderson is hosting a biweekly event, Trucks & Tunes, that started in September and will continue throughout October and November. Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, there will be local food trucks and live music on Water Street Plaza. These semi-regular events will go from 5 to 8 pm and are free to attend. Food will cost extra, though.
Each event will feature different food vendors from the community and local musicians. September’s lineup included Fusion Street food truck, run by the “Foodgicians” who make Mexican, BBQ, Filipino, and vegan combinations, and the Melanie Spector Trio, a folk-country band that plays songs from the 60s and 70s. Dem Boyz BBQ from North Las Vegas and soul singer Jessica Manalo also made appearances last month.
Enjoy the beautiful Fall evenings outdoors while discovering the culinary and musical talent that the Las Vegas community has to offer. Make sure to attend each event since there will always be something and someone different every time! Catch the next one on Tuesday, October 12.
